FARGO (KFGO) – The FM Diversion Authority has received a permit from the Buffalo Red River Watershed District, allowing construction to move ahead.
Becker County District Court Judge Michael Fritz dismissed the case after a settlement agreement was reached between the authority and upstream opponents, including the watershed board.
Diversion Authority Executive Director Joel Paulsen says the agreement will help resolve other remaining lawsuits and allow work to proceed in the new year.
