MINNEAPOLIS – Minnesota-based Target will give up 1/3 of its office space in downtown Minneapolis.
The retailer will allow workers to combine remote and on-site work after the pandemic ends.
Target will no longer lease nearly 1-million square feet in the 51-story tower in the City Center complex. Those offices have been mostly unused over the past year because many employees have been working from home due to the COVID pandemic.
A Target spokesman says affected employees will continue to have a home base in other headquarter buildings in Minneapolis and Brooklyn Park.
