PINE CITY, Minn. (KFGO) – A squirrel offered up a couple of surprises to a Pine County sheriff’s deputy.
The officer was on patrol when a squirrel popped out from underneath the squad car’s computer and jumped on the dashboard. The animal then ran toward the passenger side and disappeared. The deputy pulled over and opened his doors, hoping the squirrel would run for freedom, but he couldn’t find the squirrel.
He then checked the back of the SUV and discovered dozens of acorns that the squirrel was collecting for the winter.
