FARGO (KFGO) – A 20-year-old Benson, Minn. man died in a crash in north Fargo, Friday afternoon.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol said the man was traveling northbound on 25th Street North when he crossed the center turn lane and collided head-on with another vehicle which was traveling southbound.
Both vehicles came to a rest in the southbound lane. The man had to be extricated from his vehicle and was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver and a passenger of the other vehicle suffered injuries. The driver’s injuries were minor. The passenger was taken to a local hospital with serious, non life-threatening injuries.
None of the individuals involved were wearing seat belts.
The name of the driver who died has not been released. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
