(KFGO/KNFL) It’s season championship night this evening at the Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo.
The IMCA Sprint Cars, Modifieds, Stocks, SportMods. Hobby Stocks, and INEX Legends divisions will all take to the track tonight.
The tightest point races are in the Hobby Stocks, the SportMods classes, and the IMCA Stocks. In the Hobby Stocks, Brodee Eckerdt of Grand Forks and Tim Church of Moorhead are tied at the top with 256 points, while Dan Dowling of Davenport is only two points back.
The top three drivers are separated by seven points in the IMCA Northern SportMod, where Fargo’s Scott Jacobson (262 points) leads Casselton’s Rich Pavlicek by only three points, and Ryan Restad of West Fargo by seven.
In the IMCA Stocks, Travis Robertson has 211, and owns a two-point lead on Rob VanMil of Barnesville. Keaton Froemke of Glyndon and Brennan Borg of Harwood are tied for 3rd place, 10 points back.
Racing starts at 7:00 PM tonight.
