MAPLEWOOD, Minn. – Minnesota-based 3-M announced Tuesday morning it’s planning to cut 6,000 jobs from its global workforce in a structural reorganization.
“The reductions are intended to make the company stronger, leaner, and more focused,” 3M said.
The staff reductions are expected to save the company anywhere from $700 to $900 million.
