PIERZ, Minn. – A Morrison County sheriff’s deputy is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries suffered in a traffic incident outside a central Minnesota music festival.
The Minnesota State Patrol said Deputy Brady Pundsack, 26, was struck by a vehicle while directing traffic late Saturday night at Freedom Fest near Pierz. Troopers said Pundsack was hit by an SUV driven by a 17-year-old boy on Highway 25 and airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital.
Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen is asking the public to keep the deputy, his family and friends in their thoughts and prayers.
The report indicates that alcohol was not involved.
