FARGO (KFGO) – Attorney General Drew Wrigley and Fargo Police Chief Dave Zibolski have scheduled a news conference for Thurs. morning where they are expected to talk about and possibly release some body camera footage from the July 14 shooting where officer Jake Wallin was killed.
Two other officers were wounded along with a Fargo woman, but have since been released from the hospital.
Officer Zach Robinson shot and killed 37-year-old Mohamed Barakat. Police believe he was planning a mass shooting and may have been on his way to the Downtown Street Fair.
Three rifles, four handguns, 1,800 rounds of ammunition, gasoline and propane tanks filled with an explosive material were recovered from his car.
The news conference will be held in the City Commission Chambers at 10:30 a.m.
