City of Burnsville
FARGO (KFGO) – The partnership which owns Suite Shots in Fargo is looking to develop a similar complex in the Twin Cities suburb of Burnsville. It would be built on what’s known as Burnsville’s Freeway Dump near I-35W and Cliff Road. There’s a driving range on the site now.
Suite Shots would be the anchor of the proposed development which would feature outdoor driving range bays, indoor simulators, and a restaurant. The concept plan would also feature indoor and outdoor pickleball courts named Pickle-Palooza. The mayor of Burnsville endorsed the project at a recent city council meeting.
Suite Shots-Fargo partner Mark Johnson says the plan is in the very early stages. It would be built over a former landfill. He says the state pollution control agency would be among those who would have to give approval due to potential environmental concerns.
Suite Shots in Fargo, on I-29 and 52nd Ave. S, opened in the spring of 2022.
