MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – The City of Minot says none of the 19 train cars that derailed around 3:30 AM on Wednesday, September 30 had hazardous materials.
No injuries have been reported.
The cars went off the tracks near 2nd Ave NW closing an underpass.
A HAZMAT team responded to a gas leak and a damaged gas line.
BNSF workers are clearing the rail cars and making repairs.
