DILWORTH (KFGO) – The Minnesota State Patrol says a suspected drunk 19-year-old driver was injured in a rear end crash Friday morning in Dilworth.
A crash report says around 6:40 a.m., Kingsly Whitebird, 19, was driving east on Highway 10 behind a pickup when his car ran into the back of the pickup near 7th St N.
Troopers suspect Whitebird was drunk at the time of the crash and say he was not wearing a seatbelt. Whitebird was taken to Sanford Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup was not injured and wearing a seatbelt.
Dilworth Police, Dilworth Fire and Sanford Ambulance all assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
