WEST FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – The West Fargo Police Department is hosting a fundraiser for Detective Miles Orth who’s battling stage four metastatic prostate cancer.
Miles of Strength will be held Friday, November 13 at 11 a.m. at the Horace Senior Center. The event will have a spaghetti feed, silent auction and raffle.
“Detective Miles Orth has dedicated over 20 years to supporting and serving his community as a law enforcement officer,” Chief Pete Nielsen said. “Now it is our turn to support him and his family as he confronts a battle against advanced cancer, which has unfortunately spread to other areas of his body, including his bones.”
Orth grew up in Horace and joined the West Fargo Police Department in 2002.
