(St. Paul, MN) — Since the Minnesota Wild last played a game the roster, especially the blue line, has been significantly altered. Tuesday morning, head coach Dean Evason met with the media for the first time to discuss the additions and subtractions and his outlook on the upcoming season.
While guys like Ryan Suter, Carson Soucy, Ian Cole and Zach Parise are gone instead he’ll have guys like Alex Goligoski, Dmitry Kulikov, Jon Merrill and Freddy Gaudreau looking to fill a role with their new team. Plus, rookies Matt Boldy and Marco Rossi trying to crack the line up out of training camp which starts in mid-September. Evason says he is excited to see how the new roster forms and getting them to build some chemistry.
