ELK RIVER, MINN. (KFGO) – Moorhead City Manager Christina Volkers is one of five finalists for the Sherburne County Administrator in Elk River, Minnesota.
Volkers has been Moorhead administrator since January, 2017., Prior to that, she was Court Executive Officer for the San Bernardino, California Superior Court. She has also held administrative positions in Minneapolis, St.Paul, and Stillwater.
Another finalist for the job with connections to Fargo-Moorhead is Bruce Messelt, who was Moorhead City Manager for five years and President of Oak Grove Lutheran School for two years before he became Chisago County Administrator in Center City, Minnesota.
The five finalists will be interviewed for the job on June 25 and 26.
