BOWMAN, N.D. (KFGO) – A 77-year-old Bowman man died yesterday when he was thrown from his pick-up after a crash on Highway 85 in Southwest North Dakota. The state patrol identified the man as Dennis Olson.
Olson had just passed a semi-truck on the two lane highway and merged back into the right lane, but collided with another northbound vehicle, which had slowed to take a right turn. Both vehicles entered the east ditch and Olson’s pick-up rolled. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Two people in the other vehicle and the semi-driver were not hurt.
