(KFGO/KNFL) Get ready for plenty of Minnesota high school playoff football at the Fargodome on Thursday and Friday. A handful of section finals will be played to determine state quarterfinal berths.
Four games will be played on Thursday.
12:30 PM: Section 6 9-Man: Blackduck (8-2) vs. Fertile-Beltrami (9-0)
3:00 PM: Section 8 9-Man: Goodridge/Grygla-Gatzke (8-2) vs. Kittson County Central (10-0)
5:30: Section 8A: Red Lake County (8-2) vs. Mahnomen-Waubun (8-1)
8:00: Section 8AAA: East Grand Forks (6-4) vs. DGF (9-0)
Five more games will be on Friday.
10:00 AM: Section 4 9-Man: Verndale (9-1) vs. Wheaton/Herman-Norcross (10-0)
12:30: Section 4A: Upsala-Swanville (6-4) vs. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (7-2)
3:00: Section 6AA: Sauk Centre (6-3) vs. Osakis (8-1)
5:30: Section 6A: Breckenridge (7-3) vs. Otter Tail Central (7-3)
8:00: Section 8AA: Crookston (5-5) vs. Barnesville (9-0)
In addition to the games at the Fargodome, Moorhead will host the Section 8AAAAA final at Jim Gotta Stadium. The Spuds (4-5) as the #2 seed earned the right to host #4 Sartell (5-5) on Friday night. Kickoff at 7 PM. Sartell beat the Spuds 30-12 on September 30.
