NEW BRIGHTON, Minn. – A snowbank eventually came into play during the police pursuit of an erratic driver by the Minnesota State Patrol on highways in New Brighton.
DOT traffic cameras show the driver traveling at varying speeds near interstate 694 and 35W.
A state trooper was following close behind before several maneuvers are attempted. But the driver managed to keep going, narrowly missing other vehicles.
The chase ended when the driver sped away, lost control, and crashed into a snowbank in the median with troopers finally making the arrest for impaired driving.
