CHRISTINE, ND (KFGO) – It was tense, not only for the mother and father, but also for the Christine Fire Dept.
Members of the volunteer department answered a call from an expectant father late Thurs. night who had stopped on I-29 south of Fargo. He said he and his wife were on their way to a Fargo hospital, but didn’t believe they would make it before the baby arrived.
Fire Chief Randy Monson says the crew was greeted by the father, and his newborn daughter. The father had delivered the child.
Father, mother and baby continued onto Fargo in an ambulance from Kindred. The father is a member of the Lidgerwood Fire Dept.
