MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Minnesota troopers took two people into custody last night after a lengthy chase on I-94 that stretched from Fergus Falls to Moorhead.
State troopers attempted to stop a westbound car on the interstate near Fergus Falls just after 10 p.m. Tuesday for registration and equipment violations but the driver fled.
Sergeant Jesse Grabow said law enforcement used tire disabling devices along with a pursuit intervention technique to finally stop the car on the exit 6 ramp just east of Moorhead.
The 33-year-old man who was driving the car was booked into the Otter Tail County Jail for fleeing, DWI, and possession of a controlled substance. A 37-year-old female passenger was taken to the Clay County Jail for obstruction.
There were two other passengers in the car who were released.
