(KFGO/KNFL) Golf courses in the Fargo-Moorhead area will be opening for the season in the coming days.
In Moorhead, Village Green Golf Course will open Wednesday at noon, while the Meadows will open on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Tee times will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations are being taken at this time. Golf cart usage will permitted on a day-by-day basis, depending on weather and course conditions.
In Fargo, Rose Creek is tentatively scheduled to open its driving range and practice facilities on Thursday at 10:00 AM. The front nine is tentatively scheduled to open this Friday, April 28 at 10:00 AM. Opening of the full 18 holes is to be determined due to weather and flood clean-up.
Osgood is tentatively set to open all its facilities on May 1 at 10:00 AM.
Edgewood is currently closed due to flooding and expected cleanup after the water goes down. The practice facilities are scheduled to tentatively open on April 28 at 10:00 AM.
Clean-up is continuing at Prairiewood Golf Course, with a tentative opening date of May 2 at 10:00 AM.
El Zagal is scheduled to open May 3, as clean-up and water removal continues.
