GARDNER, N.D. (KFGO) – A 24-year-old Florida man is dead after a crash on I-29 20 miles north of Fargo early Sunday morning.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, around 2:45, Logan Barcia of Old Town, FL was driving northbound in a pickup when it left the highway and rolled.
He was ejected onto the highway and was hit by a northbound semi. He died at the scene.
The driver of the semi was not hurt.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Grandin Fire, Hunter Ambulance, Sanford Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation. NDHP says Barcia was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
