HUDSON, Wis. – An Alexandria woman is sentenced to 15 years in prison for a drunken-driving crash on Interstate 94 near Hudson, Wisconsin that left a Minnesota man dead.
State troopers said Amber Pospisil, 32, was driving east in the westbound lanes of I-94 when her car struck an SUV driven by 54-year-old Mark Filbrandt from Robbinsdale last October. Filbrandt died at the scene.
Pospisil pleaded no contest to second-degree homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle. She apologized during her sentencing hearing Friday afternoon.
