GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – An 18-year-old Grand Forks man was hurt in a crash in Grand Forks Friday afternoon.
According to the police department, around 2:19 p.m., officers were called to the intersection of 24th Avenue S. and S. Columbia Road for a motorcycle and SUV crash.
The motorcycle rider, Cooper Bakke, was taken to the hospital. His condition has not been released.
The woman driving the SUV, 89-year-old Jeanne Zimmerman of Grand Forks, was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
The Grand Forks Fire Department and Altru Paramedics also responded to the scene.
The Grand Forks Police Department is asking anyone who may have seen the crash to contact them.
