ST. PAUL, Minn. – Open enrollment is underway on state-run MNSURE and minnesotans needing health insurance for next year can compare options and sign up.
CEO Libby Caulum says every Minnesota county has at least two insurance companies offering plans, but almost every county has three or four available. There’s also a statewide network of MNSURE approved brokers to answer questions and help people decide which health insurance plan is best for them.
Minnesotans must enroll by Dec. 15 to start coverage on Jan. 1. Coverage will begin Feb. 1 for those who enroll between Dec. 16 and Jan. 15.
