Brandon Elliott (Clay Co. Jail)
MOORHEAD (KFGO KVRR) – A Moorhead man tied to the shooting of another man last Oct. has been charged with 2nd-degree attempted murder. 44-year-old Brandon Elliott has made his first appearance in Clay County District Court.
Police found a man lying near 19th Ave. and 20th St. S in Moorhead on Oct. 13 with a gunshot wound to the leg. The man told police he did not know the shooter, who fled in an SUV.
Police were able to connect Elliott to the crime through items taken from the scene. They found ammunition in his home that was linked to casings where the shooting happened.
Elliott is also charged with multiple drug crimes.
