MINNEAPOLIS – One of the men accused in a fatal shooting at Mall of America in December 2022 is pleading guilty to second-degree murder and assault.
Prosecutors say Taeshawn Adams-Wright, 19, will be sentenced in late May for the killing of Johntae Hudson, 19, of St. Paul. Bloomington Police say surveillance video shows Adams-Wright and Lavon Longstreet pursuing Hudson in the Nordstrom store before firing at hudson.
Hudson was shot eight times and died at the scene.
Longstreet’s trial is scheduled to begin next month.
