SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Minnesota State University Moorhead women’s basketball season came to an end in the NSIC quarterfinals on Thursday afternoon from the Sanford Pentagon.
Augustana defeated MSUM 77-63. With the game tied at 59 with 3:30 left to play in regulation, Augustana closed out the game on an 18-4 run and outscored the Dragons 32-13 in the final quarter.
Peyton Boom paced MSUM with 18 points and 11 rebounds while Sarah Jacobson added 12 points and 7 rebounds.
Vishe’ Rabb scored a game-high 20 points for Augustana.
MSUM closes the season 7-6 overall.
