According to TMZ, real-life superhero Stan Lee just passed away at the age of 95. Apparently, he was rushed to a hospital this morning where he later passed away. No other details are available at this time but if reports are true, it’s truly the loss of a legend. My earliest memories of the name Stan Lee come from seeing the “Stan Lee’s Soapbox” column in the Marvel Bullpen section of my favorite childhood comic books. Lee has been in the business since 1939. He started Marvel in 1961 and co-created some of the most well-known superheroes of all time, like the Fantastic Four, Spider Man, and the Avengers.
In recent years, his face has become quite familiar to moviegoers everywhere, do in part to his funny cameos in all of the Marvel Motion Pictures. As we mourn the loss of the godfather of comics, take a look at some of these great Stan Lee moments:
