BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. – Police in Brooklyn Park say a suspect is in custody after finding the body of a missing man in a drainage pond this week.
Officers say 27-year-old Jontae Lee had not been since a fight on March 11th with his friend Johnny Robinson. Authorities had been searching for more than two months for Lee.
Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension agents used an electronics-sniffing canine to search the pond on Tuesday and located Lee’s body partially submerged in some reeds.
Investigators say 22-year-old Robinson was arrested Thursday for probable cause murder.
