FARGO (KFGO) — A Fargo woman is now facing charges related to a shots fired incident near the Old Broadway in downtown Fargo early Saturday morning.
According to a police report, bystander video shows 43-year-old Miiko Baldwin fighting in a group of four women. Police say the video shows Baldwin getting up from the ground and pulling a black item from a shoulder bag. Another bystander video shows Baldwin holding a handgun in the air and firing two shots into the air.
Police interviewed Baldwin later that day, and say she admitted to firing the shots, intending to stop the fight. She told investigators the fight was started when one of the women accused another woman of sleeping with her boyfriend.
Baldwin was convicted of recklessly discharging a gun in 2022, and was not allowed to have a firearm. She is charged with reckless endangerment, unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm in a liquor establishment.
