ALEXANDRIA, Minn (KFGO) – An Alexandria man is dead after a crash between a pickup truck and a motorcycle in Douglas County.
Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened Thursday evening at the intersection of County Road 45 and Lakota Drive near Alexandria.
Deputies say 65-year-old James Schlossser of Alexandria was riding the motorcycle. He was taken to Alomere Health Hospital with serious injuries where he later died.
The driver of the pickup was a 16 year old from Alexandria.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the cause of the crash with assistance from the Minnesota State Patrol.
