COOPERSTOWN, N.D. (KFGO) – A 33-year-old Hope, North Dakota man suffered serious injuries after a motorcycle rollover crash in Steele County Tuesday morning.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 2:50 a.m. on Highway 200 just east of Cooperstown.
The crash report says the man ran off the road on his motorcycle and traveled on the shoulder before entering the ditch. The motorcycle overturned in the ditch and the man was thrown off. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Mayville before being flown to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.
The Highway Patrol says the driver was not wearing a helmet and could face charges for driving under the influence.
The crash is still under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
