FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – Sandbag Central is open and volunteers are working to fill 400,000 sandbags to protect Cass County and the City of Fargo from potential spring flooding. They still need volunteers and Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney says they are hoping to fill 100,000 sandbags a day.
Fargo City Administrator Bruce Grubbs says Sandbag Central is a huge improvement from how they use to fill sandbags.
You can volunteer to fill sandbags and can find more information about parking and shuttles at FargoND.gov/Floodvolunteers.
