St. Cloud State Prison
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Law Center, along with True North Legal, have filed a lawsuit against the Minnesota Department of Corrections for its cancellation of a Christian prison rehabilitation program.
According to the lawsuit, the Quest for Authentic Manhood program was a voluntary, Christian-based program that was open to inmates at the prison in St. Cloud.
The groups contend that the program was abruptly canceled in July when an assistant corrections commissioner said the program was in conflict with the department’s Diversity and Inclusion values.
