LIDGERWOOD, N.D. (KFGO) – The driver of a motorcycle and his passenger both suffered serious injuries in a crash Thursday night.
The crash happened just after 9:30 p.m. on State Highway 11 a mile east of Lidgerwood.
The Highway Patrol says a car was passing the motorcycle when the bike crossed the centerline and sideswiped the car. The driver of the motorcycle, 49-year-old Corey Sayler of Bismarck, lost control of the motorcycle and the bike went into the ditch.
Sayler and his passenger, 37-year-old Kaci Manikowski of Lidgerwood, were both thrown from the motorcycle. Neither was wearing a helmet.
Sayler is facing charges of DUI, DUI refusal, and driving under suspension.
The man driving the car, 59-year-old dale polansky of lidgerwood, was not hurt.
