The New York Jets agreed to terms on a four-year, $64 million extension with right guard Joe Tippmann, his agents confirmed Monday.
The contract with the versatile and durable Tippmann, 25, includes $34.9 million guaranteed, according to Athletes First.
The 2023 second-round draft pick was entering the final season of his rookie deal. He is now under contract through 2030.
The 6-foot-6, 313-pound Tippmann made the full-time switch from center to guard and started all 17 games last season. He has missed only one game through three seasons, starting 48 of his 50 contests.
Under general manager Darren Mougey, Tippmann joins a list of players who have signed new deals before the end of their rookie contracts that includes wide receiver Garrett Wilson, running back Breece Hall and tight end Jeremy Ruckert.
