FARGO (KFGO) — Charges have been filed against a man who is accused in a May shooting in Fargo.
Police arrested 26-year-old Eric Dubar last Friday for felony warrants from Wright and Anoka counties in Minnesota. Tuesday, he was charged with attempted murder, reckless endangerment, and terrorizing. Fargo Police Captain Matt Christensen says the charges stem from a shots-fired incident in May.
According to Christensen, officers responded to a shots-fired call in the parking lot of a business in the 1400 block of 12th Ave N on May 23 around 1 p.m. Officers found shell casings in the parking lot, and learned two vehicles had fled the scene. Officers found one of the vehicles a short time later parked in the 900 blk of 14th ST N. The vehicle was seized and processed for evidence.
The Metro Street Crimes Unit identified Dubar as a suspect. He was located and arrested without incident.
Capt. Christensen say this was a targeted shooting, and there was no threat to the public. No one was hurt, and the investigation is still active.
