FARGO (KFGO-KVRR) — A former employee of the St. Paul’s Newman Center in Fargo has been charged with embezzling funds.
Kristin Longtin, 29, has been charged with embezzling about $141,000. Newman Center staff told Longtin transferred money to her accounts and used the center’s credit cards to make purchases beginning in May 2023.
Fargo Police investigated the theft in October 2025.
According to the police report, the center’s current finance director and head pastor told police they had payment plan system in place for Longtin to pay back half of the money she had stolen.
Longtin was fired when the Newman Center discovered the misconduct.
A court date has not been set, and Longtinhas not been arrested.
