WASHINGTON – The Senate has passed a bipartisan bill introduced by GOP North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer and Democratic New Hampshire Senator Maggie Hassan to strengthen security at the northern border.
The Northern Border Security Enhancement and Review Act requires homeland security to update its threat analysis every five years.
That includes sector-by-sector assessments of changes in apprehensions and other evolving threats.
