STUTSMAN COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on I-94 in Stutsman County yesterday.
The state patrol says crash happened around 7 p.m. Thursday about six miles west of Jamestown when a man driving an SUV heading west on I-94 crossed into the median, and hit a semi truck.
The semi truck was pulling a trailer and caught on fire after the crash.
The driver of the SUV was taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center where he later died from injuries.
The semi driver was not hurt.
The State Patrol says the driver of the SUV was not wearing a seatbelt.
Along with the state patrol the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Area Ambulance, Jamestown Fire Department, North Dakota Department of Transportation, and Sanford AirMed assisted.
