CASS LAKE, Minn. (KFGO) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office in central Minnesota is investigating a death near Cass Lake.
The sheriff’s office says they were dispatched around 8:00 a.m. Sunday to a report of a possible dead man that had been found in Pike Bay township.
When responders arrived they found the man dead in the yard of a home and immediately began an investigation. An autopsy is scheduled with with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Leech Lake Tribal Police, the Minnesota BCA and State Patrol are assisting the Cass County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
