MINNESOTA (KFGO) – Two candidates for Minnesota governor call for President Trump to end the war with Iran.
“When it comes to the war and the increased prices that are a result of that, it is hurting Minnesotans and I absolutely acknowledge that,” Republican Minnesota Speaker of the House Lisa Demuth said.
In June on Minnesota Public Radio, Demuth was asked if there’s anything she disagrees with the president on.
“Everybody can look at something a little bit different, but I don’t have anything,” Demuth said.
Democratic Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar says she supports sanctions against Iran and believes the country must be prevented from getting a nuclear weapon and believes the war needs to end.
“After more than six months, it is clear that the president had no when the war started and has no plan for how to end it,” Klobuchar said.
